Cloud5 migrations will be starting next month!

The Cloud5 team has been busy over the Christmas break getting everything ready for your upcoming Cloud5 migration, we are excited to announce that the environment is just about ready and migrations will be starting next month. Due to the shutdown period over December/January, we have moved the migration window slightly which will now be from 1st February – 30th April 2017. The first group of customers will be contacted next week so please keep an eye out for communication from us around your specific timeframes.

To give you a basic overview of the common steps that will take place during this migration please refer to the project plan below:

Note: EmpowerHR customers will be required to upgrade to Version 12 SP1 as part of the migration, this will be discussed during your migration meeting.

Email Update #1 - 19/10/2016

We have some really exciting news regarding your hosted services!
Since the start of the year we have been planning and preparing for an upcoming infrastructure upgrade for all of our hosted EmpowerHR, MyWorkplace and TimeFiler customers. The current platform has been running now for the past 3 years and we’re really excited about moving you onto the latest Cloud technology which will deliver a much faster and more reliable service.

Our primary focus for this process is to provide you with a seamless and stress free migration over to the new platform. Please keep an eye out for further communications, to ensure you're kept up-to-date as things progress over the coming months.

Over the next week the FAQ’s section on the website will be updated with lots of detail and more content will be uploaded throughout the year.

Some Key Points around the migration

  • Your migration will take place between December 2016 and April 2017.
  • New URL’s to access your applications on Cloud5.
  • A Citrix XenApp upgrade will be used to publish your desktop applications.
  • You'll NOT be moving Data Centres (all of your data will remain in the same locations).

What do you need to do?

Website Live - 13/09/2016

The website is now live and it will become your centralised source for information and updates on the new infrastructure move. This area of the website will be updated on a regular basis as the project commences and progresses over the next 6 months. Our main focus is to provide a smooth and seamless migration for all of our customers onto the new platform.
